Money-Back Participation Guarantee
Group Classes
Tai Chi and Qigong are experiential practices. They work on the body, breath, and nervous system in ways that unfold gradually over time. A fair evaluation requires more than one or two sessions.
For that reason, this guarantee is designed to support an informed decision, rather than a snap judgement.
The Guarantee
If you attend eight consecutive classes within your first sixteen weeks, engage wholeheartedly, and still feel that the practice has not given you meaningful personal benefit or insight, we will refund 100% of your class fees.
The refund is conditional upon a short face-to-face learning conversation.
This conversation is not a test and does not require justification. It exists so we can properly understand your experience and continue refining how we teach.
Why We Offer This
- We charge because this is how we create the time, space, and focus needed to support people properly.
- We refund when genuine value is not created because we hold ourselves accountable to the work.
- This is developmental, relational, and human work, not a simple transaction.
How Eligibility Works
- Attendance must be checked in weekly using the QR code or in person with the Lead Coach.
- If a class is missed, the eight-class count resets.
- The guarantee window remains open for sixteen weeks from your first class.
- Refunds are processed within 48 hours of the face-to-face learning conversation.
- Please allow additional time for funds to clear depending on your bank or payment provider.
121 Coaching
Ad-hoc 1-to-1 Coaching Sessions
Ad-hoc 1-to-1 sessions are paid for individually.
A money-back guarantee applies only to your first ever 1-to-1 coaching session.
If, after that first session, you genuinely feel that it was not of value, we will refund the session fee in full. This refund is conditional upon a brief face-to-face exit conversation.
If you choose to book a second ad-hoc 1-to-1 session, this is taken as confirmation that you accept both the benefits and the associated costs of ongoing private coaching. Subsequent ad-hoc sessions are therefore not refundable.
Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 48 hours of the face-to-face conversation, with additional time allowed for bank processing.
Subscription-Based 1-to-1 Coaching
Subscription-based 1-to-1 coaching does not operate under a traditional money-back guarantee.
In this format, you are not purchasing isolated sessions, but committing to an ongoing rhythm of work in which value develops through continuity, trust, and engagement.
Instead, subscription coaching includes a settling-in period.
If, within the first one or two sessions of a new subscription cycle, you decide that the work is not right for you, you may cancel the subscription. Any unused sessions in that cycle will be refunded. Sessions already delivered are not refundable.
Why the Terms Differ
Fairness does not mean identical rules in all cases. Different formats involve different kinds of commitment.
- A single 1-to-1 coaching session can reasonably be evaluated on its own.
- Group practice requires time and repetition.
- Ongoing coaching is a shared developmental process.
These arrangements reflect that reality honestly, while protecting both parties and keeping responsibility appropriately placed.
If anything here is unclear, we encourage you to ask before you begin.
Failed Payments
- Where a payment authority fails to collect the agreed payment, an automatic charge of £15 is made for each instance to cover the extra administration incurred. Therefore, please ensure there are plenty of funds to cover each payment as it is requested. Thank you.
Changes, Cancellations, and Pauses
- Subscriptions can be changed, paused for extended absences, or cancelled by letting us know before the next billing cycle.
- Notice must be in writing via email.
- Notice of changes, cancellations, and pauses do not operate retrospectively. They only apply to payments subsequent to the date and time of the notice.
How Attendance Works
- Subscriptions include a defined level of attendance based on practice rhythm rather than calendar months.
- Weekly subscriptions allow attendance once per week, even in months with five class dates.
- If you attend more classes than your subscription allows within a cycle, additional classes are charged automatically at the casual rate of £15 per class.
- Attendance entitlement is measured over a rolling 4-week cycle.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly.
- There are no classes on bank holidays.
Annual Provision
- Subscriptions are based on a regular weekly rhythm. Over the course of a year, a minimum of 46 classes is provided, allowing for bank holidays and cancellations due other unforeseen factors.
Concessions
- A 50% concession is available for people currently in receipt of means-tested government benefits.
- If you can comfortably afford the standard rate, your payment helps make the classes accessible to others who might otherwise not be able to attend
Refer-a-Friend Discount
- If you introduce a friend who joins the class and remains beyond the introductory guarantee period, you will receive 50% off your membership for the following three months.
